The Clinton Hometown Price Committee has developed a 2025 goal of studying the possibility of creating a “magnet block” in the Clinton Downtown. The committee has researched the Millwork District in Dubuque, Jefferson Street in Burlington and The District of Rock Island as examples of targeted, concentrated efforts to create an area of attraction and vitality in a renovated downtown setting.

The committee’s next step is to gather input through a survey to find what the community would like to see offered in a magnet block. This community survey is designed to take less than 10 minutes. This would be the first step in creating such an area.
